The production of modern metal components requires not only precise manufacturing, but also effective management of post-production processes. At Mikrostyk, which specializes in metal stamping and serial production for demanding industries, the automation of component collection after industrial washing has become an important element of the strategy to increase efficiency and quality. In response to the company's needs, MADevice designed and implemented a complete automated line for collecting, inspecting, and packaging components after the washing process.
Why was process automation necessary?
The goal was to increase efficiency, ensure full quality assurance, and create a stable, predictable production flow without involving operators in repetitive activities.

Metal components under full control after washing
The line implemented by MADevice receives components directly from the industrial washer and automatically transfers them through the subsequent stages of the process. The entire process has been integrated into one unified system, which consists of:
- collecting components from the washer,
- transporting components between stations,
- automatic positioning by an industrial robot,
- marking and identifying components,
- quality inspection using a vision system,
- labeling,
- packaging,
- storage in an automated elevator system.
As a result, metal components go through all stages without the need for manual handling, which reduces the risk of errors and mechanical damage.

How does the automated line for metal components work?
The process begins as soon as the components leave the washer. Regardless of whether the components were washed in a vacuum washer or a pressure washer, they are placed in a transport system equipped with roller and belt conveyors.
Next, the industrial robot picks up the components and carefully places them at the subsequent workstations. After marking, each part undergoes automatic quality inspection using a vision system.
This inspection includes:
- conformity of the component geometry,
- accuracy of the markings,
- component identification,
- the presence of all required features,
- quality of the surface after washing.
After successful verification, the components are automatically labeled and directed to the packaging station.
Advantages for serial production
In an environment where serial production plays a key role, even the smallest improvement can bring a significant increase in efficiency. The line implemented at Mikrostyk allowed us to achieve several crucial operational goals.
The most important advantages are:
- elimination of manual operations during component collection,
- reduction of production cycle time,
- full traceability of products,
- quality inspection of 100% of produced components,
- reduction of the risk of complaints,
- streamlined intralogistics.
For Mikrostyk's clients, this means greater process repeatability and an even higher level of quality in the delivered components.
Metal components and quality supported by automation
In industries that require rigorous compliance with quality standards, inspecting every manufactured component is essential. This applies especially to manufacturers operating in the automotive, electromobility, and electronics markets.
Automatic inspection allows nonconformities to be detected continuously and eliminated long before delivery. This approach fits perfectly with the philosophy applied at Mikrostyk, where advanced manufacturing processes are supported by our own in-house tool shop, allowing tools and technological processes to be improved quickly.
Combining advanced metal stamping with modern industrial washing and automatic quality inspection creates a comprehensive production system that meets the requirements of modern industry.
Cooperation between Mikrostyk and MADevice
The project implemented by MADevice demonstrates how effectively a manufacturer's experience can be combined with the expertise of an industrial automation system integrator. The line was designed specifically for the processes used at Mikrostyk and integrated with the existing production environment.
The result is an autonomous process for collecting, inspecting, and packaging components, which supports the further development of serial production and increases the company's capacity to fulfil high-volume orders for industrial clients.
If you are looking for a partner that combines expertise in metal stamping, an in-house tool shop, quality assurance, and modern manufacturing processes, Mikrostyk offers comprehensive support—from design to the production of metal components.
