In 2021, as a manufacturer of stamped and punched metal parts, we set ourselves a bold goal: to reduce our carbon footprint by 50% by the end of 2025. We knew that in our industry – energy-intensive, demanding high precision and reliability – this wouldn’t be an easy task.
Today, we’re proud to announce: we have achieved that goal a year ahead of schedule. And more than that – we’ve exceeded it.
The numbers speak for themselves
Compared to our baseline year of 2021, when our total emissions amounted to 1,070 tons of CO₂e:
In 2022, we reduced them to 884 tons (–17%),
In 2023 – to 693 tons (–35% compared to 2021),
And in 2024 – to 463 tons (–57% compared to 2021 and –33% year-over-year).
If we include energy origin certificates confirming our use of green energy sources, the actual emissions drop even further – to just 160 tons of CO₂e, which is an 81% reduction from the baseline year.

No small achievement – especially in our line of work
The production of stamped and punched metal parts is heavy industry. Every component, every part requires energy – for cutting, forming, and finishing.
And yet, through consistent efforts – modernizing our machinery, investing in energy-efficient solutions, and implementing thoughtful energy management – we've achieved impressive results.
We keep going – because the environment can't wait
This isn’t the end of our journey. Reaching our goal ahead of schedule doesn’t mean we’re slowing down. On the contrary – this success only motivates us to go further. Our next steps include:
Replacing the remaining 10% of our lighting with energy-efficient solutions by the end of this year,
Upgrading the final 20% of galvanizing processes to energy-efficient alternatives by the end of 2025,
Completing thermal insulation work on our buildings,
Extending energy consumption monitoring to all remaining departments,
Continuing improvements in transport and fleet optimization.
Our actions are not just the execution of a strategy – they’re a tangible contribution to climate protection. We know that every ton less means cleaner air, a healthier planet, and a better tomorrow.
In summary
🎯 Target: –50% CO₂ emissions – achieved a year ahead of schedule
📉 57% reduction compared to 2021
⚡ 81% reduction when including green energy use
🏭 Success in a demanding industrial sector
This is proof that even in a technologically demanding field like the production of stamped and punched metal parts, it's possible to act with climate responsibility.
And at Mikrostyk, we do it every day – with the future in mind.
