Market challenges and process optimization
The year 2024 was a challenging period for Mikrostyk, marked by inflation, rising wages, and a decline in orders from the automotive sector, which faced a global crisis. Additionally, price pressure from Asian competitors compelled the company to remain competitive in difficult market conditions. Despite these obstacles, Mikrostyk focused on optimizing processes and digitization. A key achievement was the integration of production processes within the ERP system, significantly improving the efficiency of metal stamping in Poland and streamlining data management. Simplifying administration through modern accounting solutions and customer communication systems also contributed to the company’s enhanced operations.Sustainable development and eco-friendly investments
As part of its decarbonization strategy, Mikrostyk made significant investments in eco-friendly technologies. The purchase of an additional 100 kW of energy from photovoltaic panels enabled the company to achieve full energy autonomy on sunny days, marking another step toward sustainable management of metal stamping operations in Poland. Improvements to the heating system and other eco-friendly initiatives reduced the company’s carbon footprint and lowered operational costs. These efforts underline Mikrostyk’s commitment to sustainable development and environmental stewardship.Expanding the Product Range and Production Infrastructure
In the past year, Mikrostyk secured two new clients, showcasing its ability to offer competitive metal stamping solutions in Poland, even against Chinese competitors. The company expanded its portfolio to include laser marking and advanced CNC technologies, enabling even greater precision in manufacturing stamped metal components. A crucial milestone was the focus on optimizing the Tooling Department, both digitally and technologically. Investments in wire EDM machines ensured that the entire tooling machine park now belongs to the GF Machining Solutions family. This standardization allows for more efficient resource utilization and the development of team expertise. Factory modernization, including layout optimization and the expansion of workspace for future assembly departments, has prepared the company for further growth and increased production capacity. The introduction of solutions to improve workplace comfort and safety highlights Mikrostyk’s dedication to the well-being of its employees and the long-term growth of the organization.
The year 2024 demonstrated Mikrostyk’s ability to effectively respond to evolving market conditions, driving innovation, sustainability, and digitization. With consistent investments, the company is well-prepared for the challenges and opportunities that 2025 will bring.
